Kobi Kurtz, BSc, MBA – Chairman

Kobi Kurtz is the founder and CEO of the business development consultant group Kurtz Marketing & Management in Rotterdam. He has a background as a manager in the high tech industry in Israel, but decided to start his own company after having earned his MBA from RSM Erasmus University. With his roots in Israel, Mr. Kurtz has been particularly successful in developing partnerships between the high tech industry and academia in Israel and the Netherlands.





Wim van Sluis, RA – Treasurer

Wim van Sluis is a cofounder and partner of the accounting firm Daamen & Van Sluis. He is also the chairman of Rotterdam Port Promotion Council and furthermore serves as a board member of, among others, the Rotterdam Climate Initiative and the Dutch National Port Council. He previously served as the deputy mayor of Rotterdam, covering areas such as the port, economics, environment and unemployment.





Henk van Esch, MBA – Secretary

Henk van Esch is a biomedical/electrical engineer and holds an MBA from Nyenrode University/Northwestern University. He had his first experience with the new biomedical area in the Technion in the 70's. After a career in different companies as R&D-, Corporate Strategy-, Business- and Research manager (Océ; ICT Automatisering; SKF), he is now interim manager and innovation management consultant in his own company.





Prof. Gabriel Krestin, MD, PhD  

Prof. Krestin is the head of the Radiology department within the Erasmus MC and he is involved in various international radiology associations. Professor Krestin is the President of the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB) and founder and Past President of the Association of University Radiologists Europe (AURE), chair of the Research Committee of EAR, and serves on the editorial board of several international journals (Radiology, European Radiology, Abdominal Imaging, Investigative Radiology, MagMa, Der Radiologe).
