Argo Medical Technologies, which was established by Technion Electrical Engineering graduate Dr. Amit Goffer, developed and manufactured the ReWalk™ which is the first commercially available upright walking technology and enables wheelchair users with lower-limb disabilities to stand, walk, and even climb chairs.
“The ReWalk™ provides user initiated mobility and consists of a light wearable brace support suit, which integrates actuation motors at the joints, an array of motion sensors, and a computer system based on sophisticated control and safety algorithms and tailored rechargeable batteries” – Argo Medical Technologies.
