Technion Netherlands is a non-profit organization with the purpose of connecting the Technion University in Israel with the Dutch academic ecosystem. The Technion of the Netherlands is an organization that promotes education, science and technology by providing critical support to the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, ranked among the world’s leading science and technology universities. This is accomplished by offering and investing in vital support to medical and technological innovation by the Technion and by organizing collaborations between Israel and Dutch industries. From the 2nd of April 2008, the foundation is the Dutch chapter of the world-wide “Friends of the Technion”.
 
Main activities:
– Sets up, coordinates and manages Technion relationships with Dutch academia and industry.
– Arranges visits and delegations from the Netherlands to Technion, and vice versa.
– Organizes Technion gatherings and events in the Netherlands.
– Raises funds for the Technion in the Netherlands.
– Provision of support for scholarships.
 
Governance: 
The Directors carry out their activities on a pro-bono and voluntary basis. The foundation does not employ any employees.
