A special stamp, designed to mark 100 years since the opening of the Technion, was presented by Technion President Prof. Uri Sivan to President of Israel Isaac Herzog.

Prof. Guy Bartal and Dr. Shai Tsesses from the Viterbi Faculty of Electrical & Computer Engineering have made a groundbreaking discovery in the field of quasicrystals, for which Distinguished Prof. Dan Shechtman won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. In their study, published in Science, the researchers revealed—for the first time—a four-dimensional topology in a physical system.
